What Do These Ingredients Do?
BioMantra+ Root, Seed, and Soil contain different concentrations and different ratios of several key types of bacteria. Nitrogen-fixing bacteria Azotobacter chroococcum and Paenibacillus azotofixans are capable of transforming atmospheric nitrogen into fixed nitrogen, which are inorganic compounds specifically for plants. More than 90% of all nitrogen fixation is effected by these types of bacteria, thus why they're important to the nitrogen cycle that aids in plant grow and competition with other plants.
Phosphate solubizing bacteria Bacillus megaterium and Bacillus subtilis make it easier for plants to access phosphorus in a soluble form. Phosphorus is involved in the regulation of various metabolic pathways in plants. Plants absorb limited amounts of phosphorus from soil through root transporters in the rhizosphere, bio-fertilizers like BioMantra+ increase phosphorus absorption using natural ingredients rather than harmful chemicals.
Potassium mobilizing bacteria Frateuria aurantia belong to the Pseudomonadaceae family. Potassium mobilization results in considerably higher crop yield. For example, it has been shown that growth and production of eggplant and sunflowers depend on availability of potassium in soil, as plants grown in soil inoculated with Frateuria aurantia showed high yield.
Glomus mosseae is a unique type of arbuscular mycorrhizae endomycorrhizae which penetrate the cortical cells of the roots of a vascular plant and deliver essential mineral elements. These soil microorganisms result in a healthier, beefier plant.

Seaweed extract is used to promote plant growth in dark environments. Seaweed grows naturally in areas poor in nitrate-phosphate-potassium thanks to its a high levels of cytokinins. Cytokinins help in cell division, shoot initiation, and shoot development. Seaweed also contains gibberellins, which aid in flowering and seeding.
BioMantra+ also contains protein hyrdolysates, which contain amino acids that come from vegetation, produced through a process of protein hyrdolysis. These important amino acids help improve grain weight and fruit size. There are no high temperatures or harsh acids used in the process so these biologically derived ingredients are kept intact and effective.
Humic acid in BioMantra+ increases organic carbon, soil porosity, and increases Cation Exchange Capacity (CEC) of soil. Humic acid also makes nutrients more
bio-available by chelating. This means that soil absorb more water and lock in nutrients in ionic form.
What is chelating? Think of a banana. The banana peel protects the fruit from dirt, bugs, or drying out until you are ready to eat it. This is similar to how chelating works. It occurs when two chelating agents attach to an ion. Like the banana peel, the chelating agents protect the nutrient(s) from combining with other elements or losing nutrient value for absorption; benefits include increased nutrient mobility, nutrient precipitation prevention, the avoidance of nutrient leaching, and more.
